The United States Sailing Association is divided into numerous Regional Sailing Associations (RSAs) within 10 Areas. These are organized under the Council of Sailing Associations.
Area C encompasses New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. This area has five Regional Associations:
- BBYRA
- Barnegat Bay Yacht Racing Association - on the central New Jersey Coast
- CBYRA
- Chesapeake Bay Yacht Racing Association - Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia
- DCYRA
- Deep Creek Yacht Racing Association - in Western Maryland
- MAYRA
- Middle Atlantic Yacht Racing Association - South Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania
- NJYRA
- North Jersey Yacht Racing Association - North Jersey and Long Beach Island
